This was one of our Sundays where we get to hear from 3 of our Coasties - this time sharing about Why Jesus Matters. It was great to hear the stories and messages from Samantha, Caitlin, and Dean as they unpacked a different part of why Jesus matters to them (and to us) today. Have a listen here.
NB: We had some technical glitches on the day, so our apologies for some background noise on the audio.
Continuing our series on Simply Jesus, Kiran spoke about how we can know Jesus as our teacher and step into the fullness of life he intends for us.

On Sunday Matt wrapped up our Colossians series with, “Living the Jesus Way,” and how we are all called to submit to one another in love, always. That is our calling in the Kingdom of God, to love the way Jesus did. How do we live a life with love as our guide? Give a listen and find out.

We kicked off a new series on the book of Colossians. After taking us on a journey to illustrate where and why the Apostle Paul wrote it, Matt shared on the central message of this letter - that Jesus is awesome (in every sense of the word). Listen here for more.
God's kingdom is a kingdom of growth, outward movement, and expansion - and everyone can get involved! Kiran wrapped up our Kingdom Values series by speaking on reaching out and sharing good news with others.
A life reflecting God's kingdom is a life marked by compassion - noticing and responding in love to those who are vulnerable, at-risk, hurting, or isolated. Jacinda continued our mini-series on Kingdom Values by unpacking this, and shared examples from the Bibe, as well as some local stories.
We are all invited to partner with God to see His restoration plan for everything unfold - and He has given us lots of different ways to be equipped for this work. Suzie spoke on how we can grow and be empowered to be effective agents of change for the Lord's sake.
We heard from a few of our Coasties to celebrate God at work through mothers and family connections.

Where do we turn to for joy when we are facing tough times? What are some of the things that can be joy-blockers in our life, and what are the antidotes? Matt answered these questions and more to round off our series "Finding Joy".
We continue our Finding Joy series by looking at some of the "ingredients" for a life filled with joy - and they may not be what you think. Interestingly, we find that the biblical guidance for joyful living (that has been around for thousands of years) aligns directly with modern scientific understanding of the brain. Have a listen here.
Over the Easter weekend we took time to remember the death of Jesus, celebrate his coming back to life, and explore what this means for us today. We had an interactive service on Easter Sunday where Jacinda shared this message on the great exchange that took place on the cross.
