Join us for our next Compassion Gathering, where we’ll be focusing on how we can more meaningfully support people in our community experiencing mental health and addiction challenges.
These gatherings are part of our ongoing Compassion Ministry Training—a space to be inspired, equipped, and encouraged as we serve in our community initiatives. Whether you’re already involved or simply exploring how you might help, this is a valuable opportunity to learn, grow, and connect.
We’re thrilled to welcome Tamzin Walker as our guest speaker. Tamzin is part of our Coast Vineyard whānau and serves as the MHFA Aotearoa Instructor Development Advisor at Te Pou, a national organisation supporting mental health and addiction services. She brings a wealth of experience from her time at Equip, a mental health NGO on Auckland’s North Shore, where she held key leadership roles including Practice Lead, and oversaw the respite facility, community support, and lived experience teams.
We’ll begin the evening with worship and prayer, centring our hearts on Jesus. Then, we’ll move into a focused and practical session with Tamzin, with plenty of room for discussion around how we can best walk alongside those navigating mental health and addiction journeys. Dinner will also be provided.
Come ready to be encouraged and empowered—let’s grow in compassion together.
