On May 2nd, Coast Women are heading along to Aimee Walker’s hands-on Bible reading workshop at Inspire Church in Albany. You may remember Aimee preached a few weeks ago in our John series. This will be a great opportunity to go deeper and grow in confidence engaging with Scripture. We will meet at the Hub for carpooling at 12:15pm (keep an eye out on our Socials for details on this). Whether you’re new to studying the Bible or longing for a more intentional approach, this workshop will equip you with simple, sustainable tools you can use anytime—no special products or resources needed beyond your Bible.
Together, we’ll explore the Five O’s method for exegeting a passage, practice Lectio Divina, learn how to cross-reference Scripture, conduct a basic word study, and gain clarity on choosing a Bible translation that best serves your personal study. The focus is not on information overload, but on helping you slow down, engage deeply, and delight in God speaking through His Word.
